Empties #62

With only a few more empties before we reach the end, let's make it worth our while talking about all these hoarded rubbish!

We have a mix of skincare, haircare and bodycare today.

The Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask Bamboo is nice. I like a few of these including the aloe and cucumber ones. It's a refreshing, inexpensive treat.

The Moksha Dear Apple mask was quite perfumed and I probably will not repurchase.

I was not expecting much from the Etude House Hyaluronic Acid Mask but I really enjoyed it and my face felt plump and hydrated after use!

The Hada Labo AHA+BHA Face Wash is actually really nice to use daily and does not feel stripping or drying. I would purchase in full size.

The Althea Korea Bare Essentials Contour Cleanser started out pleasant to use but I became tired of the scent and sought to finish it up. It is a no frills cleanser which works.

I do not understand the hype about the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner. It worked fine but I prefer others and really do not see much of a difference with this.

The Melvita Damask Rose Floral Water is really lovely and refreshing but the spritz is essentially an assault hose for your face. I would decant it into other containers - such a shame.

The Melvita Nectar De Roses Fresh Micellar Water is a real joy to use and one I would consider purchasing. I do not use micellar waters much but find them to be a useful and handy item to have.

The Whamisa Organic Flower Lotion I really enjoy, just like what I have said in my previous empties post.

The It's Skin Power 10 Syn-Ake is meant to be an anti-ageing serum which mimics snake venom. The packaging scares me. Although the product feels alright on the skin (slightly oily texture), I will not be repurchasing as I do not like the idea.

The LookAtMe Mud Face Mask Mini Pack Lotus was really quite pleasant to use and I love the sachet packaging which makes it easy to travel with and do a quick mask while I take a bath even on the go!

The Sephora Green Clay Mask has more than 4 uses in the sachet but I found it too fragranced and too intense for my face with the exfoliating bits.

The Rocky Mountain Soap Co Calming Face Mask is so nice to use. I love the inclusion of lavender in it. I do find that I have to use a flannel/face cloth/towel to properly remove or there is a layer left behind, but I really enjoyed this and would repurchase when given the chance.

As for haircare, the product featured here is the Kerastase Specifique Intense Anti-Thinning Care. I have actually gone through 2 boxes of this, which features 10 ampoules each.

Each ampoule is applied to damp hair after washing and massaged into the hair. I personally found these to have really helped with hair fall and hair loss issues but they are expensive to purchase and use.

There are also other hair products that have been finished up.

I really did not enjoy either of these products. The Bare for Bare Lemon & Citrus Extract Scalp Repair Shampoo is too intense for my scalp. I gave it to my parents, who complained that it made their head itch too!

The Bare for Bare Cucumber & Passion Fruit Damage Repair Conditioner smells a little odd, neither like cucumber or passionfruit to me but it was decent at getting knots out and smoothing out the hair. I just really did not enjoy using it.

The Claire Organics Nourishing Rosemary Lavender Hair & Scalp Treatment Oil is a repurchase for me and my scalp really likes it. I am considering repurchasing again!

Finally, we have some bodycare items to end the post with.

The OrganiqSpa Aloe Body Wash was a lovely product to use and it has little bits to help exfoliate and make you feel extra fresh after using.

I love The Seeds Natural Botanico Mild Body Wash and so was absolutely delighted when they launched this big bottle. It is not drying at all as the product has various oils but my bottle had a funny pump which made product leak on the side (I think it was just my bottle as I had written to the company). I would totally repurchase!

The Rocky Mountain Soap Co Sugar Scrub is way too delightful. My tub was a little melted and separated due to the hot weather in Malaysia but I would purchase in a heartbeat when I visit Canada!

The Melvita L'Or Biio is a dry oil which is super lovely on the body and hair. I was not expecting much from it, and certainly was in no hurry to try it out but once I cracked into the capsule I was enamoured. I would purchase the full size.

Finally we have 2 bar soaps. The Seeds Natural Wild Rose & Honey Bar Soap is non drying on the skin and smells like fresh roses. I really like this.

The Mt Olive Olive Oil with Spearmint Oil Bath Soap Bar has zingy spearmint which made showers quite the experience. Spearmint also has a certain sweetness to it. I really love this soap and would repurchase if I visit Mt Olive again soon.
