Clinique Moisture Surge

I was in the airport (KLIA in Malaysia) when I came across this Clinique Moisture Surge range and there was an offer to get this as a set and for a discount, so I thought I would give it a shot.

The Clinique Moisture Surge Melting Mask Balm is actually similar to a lot of solid balms which deeply hydrate and protect the skin.

You can apply it all over the face, or on areas of dryness. I tend to just use it on areas of dryness on my face, and particular on dry/chapped lips, cuticles, any minor cuts and abrasions all over my body.

This is not one that you can just scoop out, rather you melt it on your fingers and apply it to areas where you need it.

This does not smell like anything as there is no fragrance, and so is unlikely to cause any irritations. I like it and leave it on my bedside table. The container is glass which makes it quite luxurious but simply too heavy to carry around in my handbag!

The item I have been reaching for a lot and is my clear favourite in the bunch is this Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate!

This is basically a really hydrating serum and it works in both tropical climate and cold weather. I find myself reaching for this daily and had to ration its usage! In fact, I like it so much I make sure I have this in my travel case so that I can use it in the plane where the air is usually really dry.

The Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate just leaves me skin feeling really comfortable. I apply it either to dry skin or to skin that is slightly damp from a mist/spritz. I am hoping that you can see from this photo that when applied on dry skin, it leaves the skin with a moisturised sheen.

This bottle is quickly depleting and I really love it. If you only want to try one item from the range, get this!

This is the Clinique Moisture Surge 72 hour auto-replenishing hydrator. I was not sure how I felt about this in tropical weather, and then tried it when it was Autumn in England and it is gorgeous!

There are different variations of this moisturiser, depending on what you prefer. I like a lighter gel because I have combination skin and this is amazing. In the drier, colder weather, my skin drank this up and felt super hydrated without getting oily.

The gel also sinks into the skin quickly and there is no tacky finish. It is not completely traceless but feels really comfortable on the skin and almost feels like it seals up existing moisture on the skin.

You do not need much for the face as it will feel heavy if you apply way too much. Start with a little and smooth over your face.

That dollop pretty much covered the whole back of my hand comfortably.

The Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask comes in a tube which I have to say is my preferred packaging.

I have used it for a while and find that while it is a lovely texture and does not feel too heavy or cloying on the skin, I also do not find it to supersede the moisturiser.

This is more of a traditional cream finish but does not feel heavy on the skin and does not stain your pillowcases - important fact!

Almost surprisingly, there is no moisture sheen on the skin when you use it. However when you wake up after using this, your skin feels comfortable without being oily. I always wash my face in the morning. I don't think this feels so heavy that you will wake up thinking you have to wash your face immediately but when you go to wash your face you can feel that it is still on!

The Clinique Moisture Surge Range is not as loud as some of the other brands, but I really do love this range and would wholeheartedly recommend this.
