I have heard so much about H&M make up that when I arrived in London, all I wanted to do was to raid the counters. Finally I had about 10 minutes and I dragged Will to a H&M, only to see a rather pathetic few bits, so we walked to the flagship at Oxford Street and it was a little piece of paradise.

H&M Self-Warming Face Mask - Natural Clay and Quinoa & Kiwi and Watermelon |
The first things I picked up were actually these masks because they were arranged really prettily and the pop of colour is rather eye catching. I picked up Natural Clay & Quinoa, as well as Kiwi And Watermelon because of the skin type. The rest were targeted at dry skin and I did not think I will need more moisture when I am back in Malaysia, especially with my current skincare loading up on Hyaluronic Acid.

H&M Small Shading Brush |
I also grabbed an eyeshadow brush but actually grabbed one that I did not intend to buy....
|
H&M Small Shading Brush |
I always look for good blending or crease brushes but this is shaped more to place eyeshadow on the lid. No matter, I shall try it out.
|
H&M Lip Colour-To-Go, H&M Gossamer Lip Stain, H&M Velvet Lip Cream |
Then I picked 3 lip products out from the range available.
|
H&M Lip Colour-To-Go, H&M Gossamer Lip Stain, H&M Velvet Lip Cream |
It was actually really hard to pick colours because of the crazy lighting in store, but I picked up these three in the end, partly to try out the formula and partly to try them in general.
|
H&M Lip Colour-To-Go, H&M Gossamer Lip Stain, H&M Velvet Lip Cream |
Here they are, swatched and the dark colour is actually a lot darker than I expected! All three glided on and the pigmentations are all impressive.
|
H&M Gossamer Lip Stain |
This is actually an aftermath of removing all the products. The Glossamer Lip Stain has lived up to its name and STAINED.
|
H&M Pure Velvet Cream Blusher & Pure Radiance Powder Blusher - Hot Pink |
Of course, I had to pick up some blushes, these have had so many reviews that I simply had to try them out!
|
H&M Pure Velvet Cream Blusher & Pure Radiance Powder Blusher - Hot Pink |
The packaging looks really pretty but actually feels quite cheap and really plasticky. The good thing about it is that it is very travel friendly because it is so light! The only thing is I wish they had mirrors!
|
H&M Pure Velvet Cream Blusher & Pure Radiance Powder Blusher - Hot Pink |
The colour I picked up is actually Hot Pink for both but they look and swatch slightly different. They did look identical in store...
|
H&M Pure Velvet Cream Blusher & Pure Radiance Powder Blusher - Hot Pink |
The powder blush is not too powdery and is quite finely milled. The cream blusher is rather intense but it is the exact pink that I love.

H&M Eye Colour Palette in Super Naturals |
Finally, the last but surely, biggest purchase, is this H&M Eye Colour Palette.
|
H&M Eye Colour Palette in Super Naturals |
There is a leaflet which explains how to wear the eyeshadows and even includes what brushes to use.
|
H&M Eye Colour Palette in Super Naturals |
It is useful and I may try it, but so far I have just been playing with the eyeshadows without using this leaflet.
|
H&M Eye Colour Palette in Super Naturals |
Ps. This look is so pretty!
|
H&M Eye Colour Palette in Super Naturals |
Anyway, back to the actual product. The packaging once again is pretty, but cheap and plasticky.
|
H&M Eye Colour Palette in Super Naturals |
The contents.... however, is a different story.
|
H&M Eye Colour Palette in Super Naturals |
These colours are gorgeous and they just photograph beautifully.
|
H&M Eye Colour Palette in Super Naturals |
These are finger swatches, no primers, no wetting of any shadow or anything and I am really rather impressed. For the price of £8.99 these are more than some decent shadows!
Here's a quick look at the eyeshadows in action!
