My sister needed a haircut as well so I went to her usual hairdresser.

My hairdresser was Leonard and he recommended a lob = long bob, and after about 10 seconds of deliberating, I decided that it was a good idea.

I then had my hair cut and my fringe trimmed, and then I had a scalp treatment.
There is two steps to this scalp treatment and it started with a gentle peel which was left on with a heater on my hair.
After that, it was rinsed out and then Step 2 was applied on my scalp. At this point, a hair mask was applied on the lengths of my hair as well. The heater was on once again and I look quite funny!
After a set amount of time (there was a beeper), I had my hair rinsed clean again and this time, I had a blow dry.
Leonard was really nice and told me how to blow dry my hair for the best look and showed me how to use hair straighteners.
You may be wondering why I needed help but essentially he was telling me that I do not need to use the straighteners all over, just on the top bits of my hair to ease the frizz and a little at the ends if I want to curl the hair inwards for a bit of a bounce.
As you can see I actually cut a lot of length off my hair and my head feels pretty light, which is a little odd and I keep forgetting my hair is pretty damn short now.
I do still tie my hair up loads, but it now has to be a low pony tail because of how short my hair is now.
This is actually how my hair looks when I style it myself, MESSY.
Do you tend to be precious about your hair length or do you tend to just chop it off? I am someone who just goes for it as I believe it's just hair at the end of the day =)
