The packaging says to shake it well before use, and when you open it up, there is a bit of product on the lid.

I just dab my finger in the lid, rather than the netting of the jar as there is sufficient product even in the lid.

I have included this picture of a dab of the product (which looks really bright) and just below and on the right, is a blended out version of the blush (it is really subtle).

Here I am with the rest of my makeup but no blusher or lip products.
Left : A dab of the Stila Aqua Glow Watercolour Blush in Water Blossom on my cheek
Right : The dab is blended out to a soft subtle glow
I also used this on my lips as a lip tint/gloss/colour.
Here is the overall look - it is just really light and a sheer colour.

I am sure this can be built up for a stronger flush but I tend to keep my makeup more on a natural side. It does fade after about 4 hours wear, perhaps due to the tiny amount I used.
