Althea #8
I recently did a small order with Althea and picked up 2 items I really wanted to try due to the many popular reviews - Missha 4D mascara and the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C.
Despite only ordering 2 items, Althea kindly included a sample, which I was pretty happy to receive and will try out. Keep your eye out for a review of this Madagascar Centella Asiatica Cream, likely to pop up in an empties post.
The Missha 4D Mascara has many good reviews and I can understand why. This mascara is not too overwhelming on sparse lashes and it holds a curl pretty well.
On some days when I have worn my makeup for more than 10 hours, I sometimes see little flakes under my eyes but apart from that, this mascara has been pretty impressive. It was also quite affordable so I can see myself repurchasing this.
The Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C comes in a really pretty box, which should not make a difference, but of course it helps if the aesthetics are pretty than not.
The company intentionally designed Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C to be in a clear bottle so that consumers can see oxidation IF it occurs.
I must admit that I was surprised the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C is housed in what feels like oil-based serum. It was just me being naive as almost all Vitamin C are housed in oil rather than water due to oxidation but with how liquidy the product was, I was not expecting an oil.
The product itself goes on well and I actually apply it both morning and night and it does not budge or break up my makeup, which would have been a deal breaker. I like this and will continue using this.
Have you tried either of these products?
